Request Your Mail Ballot.

  • by

In the most recent election, approximately half of Brevard County Democrats who voted did so by mail. Before 2023, Florida voters could elect to automatically receive a Mail Ballot for every election for up to four years.

However, Governor DeSantis and the Republican legislature decided that was too convenient, so they enacted authoritarian voter suppression legislation in 2021 that canceled ALL Mail Ballots at the end of the 2022 election.

SB 90 states in part:

limiting the duration of requests for vote-by-mail ballots to all elections through the end of the calendar year of the next regularly scheduled general election

So, if you HAD a mail ballot request, you don’t anymore.

The Brevard Democrats are here to help Brevard County voters reinstate their Mail Ballot requests. The easiest way is to click this button.

Fill out the form and answer a few questions, and you’ll receive a confirmation email. It’s that simple! Not comfortable with the online portal? Simply contact us at hello@brevarddems.org or call 321-600-4855 and we’ll get a volunteer out as soon as possible.

We are encouraging our constituency to use Mail Ballots because 1) It’s an insurance policy if for some reason you can’t make it to the polls to vote in-person, and 2) Mail Ballots yield the most successful outcome for Democrats.

Voting by mail ensures your vote is cast and counted. It's easy and effective!
